• Uploaded Media: We collect images or PDFs of menus that you upload to our platform to automatically extract menu items and themes.
• Usage Data: We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous information about how you navigate and interact with our website.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect for the following specific reasons:

• To Provide the Service: Restaurant and menu data is stored securely in our database to generate and host your digital QR menu publicly.
• To Prevent Abuse (Quota Limits): TryMenuly is a free service with a strict "one-restaurant-per-device" policy to prevent spam. We use your IP address, browser fingerprint, and device cookies strictly to enforce this quota and protect our platform.
• To Extract Menu Content: Images and PDFs you upload are temporarily processed using third-party artificial intelligence services to automatically extract text (menu items, prices) and analyze color themes.
• To Improve Our Website: We use aggregated, anonymized traffic data from Google Analytics to understand user behavior and improve our platform's performance.

4. Third-Party Services

We may share portions of your data with the following trusted third-party service providers:

• OpenAI: Menu images and PDFs are sent to OpenAI's APIs for processing and data extraction.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We do not require user accounts, emails, or passwords. Your digital menu is tied to your device identifier. You retain full control over your menu data. You can permanently delete your restaurant and all associated menu items directly from your TryMenuly dashboard at any time. Once deleted, the data is removed from our active database and cannot be recovered.

We take reasonable measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
